When founding Paradise Theater, my vision was to do it all. After all, I had been in the building industry, an integrator, a designer, and one of the first private cinema designers. I was one of the best and with absolute control of every detail, I would assure absolute quality for every client. My wife, also our CFO, had another view. “Do what you love and do best and find partners for the rest,” she said. I decided to listen, after all, she had only made one mistake as far as I knew. She is in good company with her point of view.
The late Steve Jobs, when asked about the key to Apple’s success, credited their success to Apple’s collaborative culture.
